Samsung QN900F Neo QLED 8K TV

The QN900F is Samsung's high-end Neo QLED 8K TV launched in early 2025. It sits one level below the company's flagship TV, the QN990F. It features a brighter screen with Glare Free coating and a higher refresh rate, faster performance, a newer version of Tizen OS featuring Art Store, and several AI-powered features.

The QN900F succeeds the QN900D that was launched in 2024.

It uses a VA panel with 8K resolution and a Mini-LED backlight system with thousands of backlight zones. It has up to a 165Hz refresh rate (for supported devices), HDR, HDR10+ (Adaptive and Gaming), and HLG. The TV supports up to 165Hz refresh rate at 4K resolution when connected to a gaming PC and up to 120Hz when connected to a gaming console. At 8K resolution, it supports up to a 60Hz refresh rate.

This 8K TV is available in 65-inch, 75-inch, and 85-inch sizes.

Gamers can take advantage of features like AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), Dynamic Black EQ, Game Motion Plus, HGiG, MiniMap Zoom, and variable refresh rate (VRR) on this TV for a fluidic and immersive gaming experience.

The QN900F has a 4.2.2-channel speaker setup with Dolby Atmos. It also supports Wireless Dolby Atmos when connected to a compatible Samsung soundbar or wireless speakers via the Q-Symphony feature. Other supported audio features include 360 Audio (via Galaxy Buds), Active Voice Amplifier Pro, Adaptive Sound Pro, Bluetooth Audio, and Object Sound Tracking Pro.

Samsung has equipped the QN900F with four HDMI 2.1 ports (one with eARC), two USB Type-A ports, one digital optical audio output port, one RF port, and one Ethernet port. It also features Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi 6E. The TV also features several audio and video casting and streaming features, including AirPlay 2, DLNA, Tap Sound, and Tap View.

The TV has built-in SmartThings Hub with support for Threads and ZigBee. It also supports SlimFit Cam, SlimFit Wall Mount, and Mini Wall Mount.

The QN900F features the NQ8 AI Gen 2 processor for improved performance. It runs Tizen OS 9.0 with One UI (Tizen) interface, Daily+, and DailyBoard. It has Art Store, Alexa, Bixby, Google Assistant, Multi Control, Samsung Health, and Samsung TV+.
