Samsung teased the Galaxy S25 Edge at the end of its recent keynote event. After the event, the company showcased the phone's slim design, but no one was allowed to touch the phone. Since it is very slim, many people want to know its battery situation. Now, its battery capacity has been revealed.

Galaxy S25 Edge has a smaller battery than expected

The Galaxy S25 Edge has a 3,900mAh battery (3,786mAh rated capacity), and that information was spotted (via Abhishek Yadav) in the China Quality Certification (CQC) database. It was also revealed that the phone has 25W fast wired charging, similar to that of the Galaxy S25.

Earlier, it was reported that the Galaxy S25 Edge could have a 4,700-5,000mAh battery. When we said those rumored specifications, we said that those figures are too good to be true as the phone is said to be slimmer than 7mm.

The Galaxy S25 Edge has a screen size similar to the Galaxy S25+, but it has a battery capacity similar to the Galaxy S25. So, unless Samsung has done some magic with the phone's display power efficiency and chipset, people might be disappointed with the phone's battery capacity.

Moreover, the Galaxy S25 Edge only has a dual-camera setup on the rear. It is possible that it might not have a telephoto camera at all. Its pricing is said to be somewhere between that of the Galaxy S25+ and the Galaxy S25 Ultra. And the phone will only launch in some countries.
